[ He wiggles around on top of Ghoul, but stops trying to bite him. That's a compromise, right? Because he could totally nap like this. There aren't many people Party would be comfortable sleeping near, but Ghoul's definitely on that list. Their little gang is about the safest Party can get in his mind. ]
'Course you a-ugh!( Party's wiggling squeezes some of the air out of his lungs, sending Goul in to a brief wiggling-and-kicking fit of his own. ) You're kinda heavy. 'S like havin' a giant bag of wet sand fall on you. Wet sand and maybe some sticks. ( he grins wickedly. he's being a little shit about it, sure, but it's really not that bad. Ghoul kind of likes it, actually. rather than feeling trapped, he finds it nice and secure.

( a look of inspiration settles on his face just before he feels around for one of Party's arms. once a wrist is found, he grabs hold of it and lifts his head, attempting to stuff Party's forearm in the space beneath his own neck. instant pillow!! )
[ The mild manhandling is tolerated in a way that probably only Ghoul could get away with, mostly because no one else he'd allow would actually do it. He shifts around with it to keep himself comfortable and settles with his face pressed into Ghoul's neck when he does settle. ]
'M not that heavy. Just got a lotta presence.
[ He giggles into Ghoul's skin and squeezes him just a little too hard. ]
Presence? That what we're callin' your ass now? ( he snickers at his own joke, inaccurate as it is. Ghoul himself is probably the thickest out of all of them despite also being the smallest, but god damnit, a good burn can't be stifled by something like facts.
he winds his arms around Party's middle now that everything's settled, clasping his hands loosely together before smacking a noisy kiss in to the crook of his shoulder. ) It's okay. I'll always put up with your presence, 'cause I guess I'm kinda fond of you and your bullshit.
[ He hums a little, mumbling into Ghoul's neck. There's not much he needs in life beyond their little family, but it's moments like this when he knows that everything is worth it. He needs them in a way he'll never need anything else. ]
Guess yours is alright, too. Don't mind it sometimes.
( now it's his turn to smother a ridiculous-sounding airy giggle against Party's shoulder. sometimes the juvenile humor and ribbing within their group is just the dumbest thing. Ghoul absolutely loves it, lucky them. ) You're stuck with it either way. ( a pause. ) Like, literally in a minute. I was for real about that nap thing. If you wanna go anywhere in the next hour, you better get up now. There'll be hell to pay if you fuckin' wake me up ten minutes in.
( but he might be making a getaway slightly difficult for Party, because his arms tighten in to an almost uncomfortable squeeze. )
[ Party makes a soft noise in his throat and nuzzles up against Ghoul's jaw. ]
Sleep. Then we'll go get water for the next couple of days. Gotta take care of your delicate ass first.
[ Any struggle from earlier is gone and Party's weight is on Ghoul like a blanket. Or maybe it's more like a sack of potatoes, but that's Ghoul's problem. Either way, Party's slept in a more uncomfortable position than this and he's perfectly content to leave himself vulnerable to Ghoul. Sure, Ghoul does shit to him, but he'd never really hurt Party and that's something Party hasn't questioned in as long as he can remember. ]
( Ghoul huffs out a breath. ) Yeah, like you should. My delicate ass is important. ( he burrows down, turns his head, and tucks his face against the side of Party's neck to block out at least some of the sunlight blasting through the dirty windows. when he speaks again, his voice is quieter and muffled between them. ) Just for a little bit. Don't lemme sleep all day.
( that water fetching thing is pretty crucial, even if it can hardly be classified as anything other than a boring chore at this point. as tired as he may be, he doesn't want to be left behind for it. he might miss something, and that would just be terrible. )
[ Party's already drifting off as he hums an answer. It's rare that he can sleep long without a sound or a nightmare pulling him out of it again, so he's really not worried. Sometimes it's nice to be able to take a moment like this to just feel relatively safe and this is about as safe as he ever gets.
Ghoul smells like home. Or maybe it's that Ghoul smells like Ghoul and he's just a part of what home is to Party these days, but either way it's a comfort. That's the last though he manages before he falls asleep. ]
