[ Luna blinks up at the specter from where she's seated on the ground, legs cross with her wand out. She looks only mildly surprised. ]

I was trying to banish wrackspurts.

[ Her brow knits in mild concern. She'd done exactly what she was supposed to do. How strange. She's not even sure who this new ghost is.

Pushing herself up, she stands, wand still in her hand but relaxed at her side. ]

My name is Luna.

you are too kind

[humorously]

Wrackspurts? I'm afraid I can't help with that.

[Smyrna's head cocked to the side curiously, in a manner that Prongs often told her reminded her of confused canines. She couldn't say that those particular beasties were familiar to her, but it didn't seem like too big of a problem if introductions were happening.]

Pleased to meet you Luna. I'm Symra. I would shake but...

[She wiggled her transparent fingers as if to prove her point.]

What are wrackspurts anyway?

[ Inclining her head to the side, she offers a dreamy smile. She's always happy to meet new people, whether they're corporeal or not. ]

Wrackspurts go into your ears and make your brain go fuzzy.

[ She touches her own ear as she speaks before making a gesture around her head to indicate something brain-like. ]

Sometimes people don't even know that anything's wrong, because they're so disoriented.

[humorously]

[Given that one of her best friends is a werewolf who snuck into Hogwarts, that there are still many great creatures big and small that are barely understood, and that there are still books that are supposedly restricted because of their 'danger', Symra doesn't really doubt the existence of the wrackspurts. She probably won't be saying it to too many people but still the idea makes her grin widely.]

It would explain things about a lot of people here, wouldn't it? Why would wrackspurts want to bother you think?

[She leaned forward in interest, propping her chin on her hand, expression eager. Symra was always a sucker for a good story, the ones that were a bit gory and mad being her favorites. With her family they had to be or else she'd go insane.]
