Beaches are something Kobra could get used to. The water is still unnerving, but the sand is familiar enough that it balances out a little for him. In any case, there's something great about warm sun that isn't scalding and a fluffy towel under his back.

He's flopped back on his towel now, toes digging into the sand. His head's hanging off the top a little with his hair collecting sand and his sunglasses slipping up onto his forehead when he shifts.

"Don't know how anyone could wanna get back on the ship after this." There's an easy grin on his face.

The look on Bucky's face is pretty horrified as he slowly pans his head over to Kobra. "Jeez Louise... I guess I can stop complaining about what I had to eat during the War." Rations might as well be nothing better than dog food, but it wasn't actual dog food.

"Do lizards taste better than squirrels?" Honestly, Bucky doubts it, but he may as well ask in case he finds himself between a rock and a hard place with a lizard. And when the line moves on, so does he. The ice cream is materialized almost instantly, looking perfectly scooped right out of the big carton barrels. All he has to do is swipe his credit card over the pad (you know, once he finds it) and the ice cream is his.

"Ooo, well, rabbit's certainly good." He stops himself before taking his own lick, intent on watching Kobra do the honors first.

"You can be the test subject," he teases with a shitty grin.

Yeah, Bucky doesn't either. There's a stretch of seconds where he regrets his decision to branch out and be adventurous, but it's short lived. His stubbornness takes over, of course, and pushes away any hesitance or retraction of his decisions. All actions are final actions! No refunds.

He does, however, take a bite of the butter pecan first. Okay, so far so good. Then he licks the other plain white scoop and yelps immediately, drawing back his tongue like it had just been shocked. Which it had.
