[Slow and lazy is a good way to start things, grinding together, hips slotting against hips to explore the idea of friction while Bucky's lips and tongue explore the skin on Steve's throat. He's warm; Bucky's always known this but he likes that he's rediscovering it, likes that he gets to learn Steve like this. It's like icing on top of a really amazing cake, like a dream come true in the best way possible.

A quietly amused noise meets Steve's reply. Those wandering hands certainly speak volumes, as does the way Bucky presses into them. He's not sure if he'd ever have pegged Steve as being handsy — this century has had some weird influences on his friend after all — but Bucky kind of adores it. With Steve's hands on him Bucky's skin doesn't feel too small or stretched too thin. It's almost like Steve's touch helps define the borders of his shape, and Bucky simply shifts to fit within that outline. It's comforting, in its own way. Grounding.

It feels like home.

You can wake up like this whenever you want.

[And they can, can't they? They most certainly have the freedom to be able to do so — depending on what's going on of course, because Bucky knows that eventually they'll be pulled back out into the world. And he doesn't mind that either; he's always had Steve's six, and nothing about that is going to change — except that there might be a little more kissing involved now.

And speaking of kissing he meets Steve's lips with his own, content to trade slow, lazy kisses back and forth. It's probably good that there's nothing pressing that needs their attention, because Bucky thinks he'd be quite content to linger like this for quite a while.
