[For all that things are heating up between them — or starting to anyway — there's still laughter and affection and fond looks shared between them, and Bucky kind of adores it. That's probably a good part of why he can't get enough of this, really: because it's so easy, because it's so natural. Because it's Steve. Because there's nothing else he'd rather be doing, nowhere else he'd rather be than right here in the moment. Not even the weight of their past can interfere, not when he just wants to enjoy what's here and now and present.

Fortunately, Steve seems to be on a similar wavelength about their present, namely in that the kisses have to stop for at least a few moments, at least long enough to relocate themselves. There's a momentary thought spared for clothing — how Steve's shoes ended up by the entry, how his shirt is lost to the couch, how his pants will probably be decorating Bucky's bedroom floor — but he doesn't even have time to laugh at the idea before Steve is kissing him again, kissing him and pulling away and okay yes, they need to move and it needs to be now else they're definitely going to be christening Bucky's couch (and actually, that's not a bad a idea for next time).

Focus, Barnes. Focus.

The way Steve holds out his hand is sweet, endearing, and a little bit sexy too. Bucky lets himself be pulled up, bright laughter spilling out of him at the action, at the way it pulls him close to Steve, close enough to loop arms around him and lean in for another kiss — or two. Or three.

Move, Barnes. You have to move, else falling right back onto the couch is going to be a thing.

With a laugh he tugs Steve with him, walking backwards with the familiarity born of living in a space and knowing its layout. Which is good, because he doesn't want to stop looking at Steve, doesn't want to focus on anything except keeping their hands twined together and pulling him into the bedroom. It's as simply furnished as the rest of the apartment but the bed is comfortable and more accommodating of two large men than the couch could ever be.

And, Bucky really wants Steve in his bed.

He lets himself fall to a seated position on the edge of the bed, looking up at Steve with a grin. It's more silly than sexy in the moment but that doesn't much matter right now because it also fits this thing they're exploring.

[Out in the living room, two coffee cups sit nudged right up against each other, growing cold together and all but forgotten and that's kind of perfect too.]
